Introduction

Lessons are available too all ages and abilities. Genres from Classical to Jazz and Rock through to Pop. I encorage examinations but these are not suitable for everyone. We can discuss what you would like to achieve in your first free trial lesson.

Examinations

I encourage all my students to work towards exams if they so wish. They are a great way of structuring your learning and for discovering new music. Exams are acreddited with either ABRSM for Piano & Organ or Trinity College London for Electronic Keyboard. Levels start from Preliminary through to Grade 8, with Grades 5-8 earning UCAS points for University applicants. I am proud of my 100% pass rate and all of my students have passed with either Merit or Distinction.

Lessons

Lessons usually work best as regular half hour weekly meetings or fortnightly hour sessions depending on age and ability. We can discuss this in our first meeting. There are breaks for Easter, Summer & Christmas and I require 24 hours notice for any cancellations. It is sometimes possible to rearrange a lesson and I will do my upmost to accomodate your schedule.

Availability

I teach throughout the week with times available mornings, afternoons and evenings. I currently have a short waiting list for all days. However please contact me to discuss your preference.
